DOGS AT THE ASIA AND PACIFIC MUSEUM

We invite everyone to visit the Museum with your pets!

Dogs have long been welcomed at The Asia and Pacific Museum and have been able to accompany their owners on a tour of the exhibitions. On the occasion of the International Dog Day, the Museum team has decided to modify the older regulation regarding visits with pets.

Dogs are often present at the Museum – some of them accompany employees in their daily work, some even lived in the Museum. In the Management building you can meet York Kitek, who has been faithfully accompanying his Lady for years. For many years, the permanent residents of the Museum were the beloved dogs of the founder of the Museum – President Andrzej Wawrzyniak. They were dogs of the Tibetan Lhasa Apso breed, which even had their own exhibition “Lhasa apso – my love. Portraits of Tibetan dogs, curator Andrzej Wawrzyniak ” in 2001.

The new, modified provision will soon appear in the regulations.
